Thinking of moving to London at some stage this year. I don't know much about the accounting regulations there. A quick Google search gives me lots of different resources but I want to make sure I'm covering everything. What would be the best most complete source for this?

Also considering Belgium as I have family there but I think that will be more difficult. If anyone has info on their regulations please let me know. This one is difficult to find.

I interviewed for a job a month ago. A few weeks after the interview, I was told my feedback was good, but the company was evaluating all positions at the company at this time. Today, I saw the job is no longer posted, but my application is still "active" in the workday system. Anyone have any idea what this would mean? I don't want to continuously bother the recruiter.

Just made the switch from a government job to public accounting. Started my new job last week and feeling quite lost. Due to tax day I haven’t met any of my peer or partner yet (remote position) was given minimal direction as what to do with my time (an email with the location of training videos on some systems and topics) so I spent all week watching those. Since I‘ve never worked public before, what’s some advice you can give me? Starting as a supervisor so maybe that’s different too.

Senior 1 here- I have recently been getting severe episodes of panic attacks every morning before sitting down to work. Unusually anxious this busy season (probably due to be assigned on a huge re estate fund client which i am definitely incapable of managing in addition to smaller clients)? At this rate, i feel like ill end up finishing busy season with a medical condition such as stomach ulcer. Every day is a nightmare for me- at a loss as to how to deal with my emotions right now...

We are doing a virtual Meet The Firms event later this week and I have the biggest feeling it is going to be so awkward.
