What do you mean by "regulations"? Do you have working rights or will you need sponsorship? I see that as the biggest challenge to being an accountant in either country. If you're a CPA and asking if your credentials will be recognized, I'd do a Google search for that country's accounting regulation body. I'm a US CPA working in Australia and my credentials are recognized.
I have working rights already so don't need a visa. I meant the UK gaap rules in particular or any other best practices when working there. I'm familiar with IFRS already but not every company uses that.
