Thinking of punching out at 1 yr mark as an experienced hire... how do recruiters view an early exit? I’m doing well, but not enjoying the work. How big is the benefit of staying for 2yrs /promo vs 1?

This industry has a revolving door, leave on good terms and you'll be fine. Decent recruiters won't hold it against you if the lifestyle wasn't what you expected or wanted.

The market is hot. It won't matter also this industry is a place where people stay long

Why aren’t you enjoying? Which team in Kearney?

Feeling the same way. The only problem is I left my last job before my 2 year mark so leaving now would not look great... Hate the travel and implementation work is boring.

I’m currently an AE and was offered a promotion to sales manager. I’ve been waiting for this next step but the offer only provides a 5% raise over what I currently make. We had several manger seats open and I know external people we hired received an offer atleast 20-30% more than I did.
I’m currently trying to negotiate but there doesn’t seem like there’s willingness to do so from our hiring team. Should I decline? Should I leave? Should I accept and start looking elsewhere?

Looking at exits into pharma and biotech. Have an opp at a biotech at the SM level. Total comp excluding equity is around $190k; RSUs vest over 4 years with annual refreshers, so first year equity would be around $6,200 and it would go up by $6,200 each of the next 3 years, plus whatever base bump I get. Very good benefits package.

They envision 2-3 years before I jump either to AD or right to D. Solid opp? Or hold out to go straight to director level?

I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

Where do you go to hire someone for one-off projects? Looking to potentially hire someone to prepare an equity comparables analysis.

I started working for a bank and am going through the background check. They found an arrest which was dismissed and the file was sealed a few days after the check. They’re requesting the police report on top of the court order to seal. The police report is BAD. During the arrest (DUI) they wrote the report to make me seem like a complete lunatic. Embellished on several elements of the case. I am worried that giving them this report will cause me to be let go.
