Montreal hands down

The only correct answer is Montreal

I live in Toronto and I would go to Montreal.

I went to Toronto for new years one year but I wish I went to Montreal

What are you looking to do?
... but really, just go to Montreal

As a Torontoian, go to Montreal

Montreal.. too many people in Toronto.

What to do in Montreal? Doesn’t everything shut down?

What's good in Montreal for New year's

Quebec City has old world charm - great for a weekend.

Ottawa is fun for a weekend - skating in the canal, the Byward Market, some interesting museums.

Thank you for the recommendations everyone. I really don’t have a set plan as to what to, just want a great city to go to and then will figure out an itinerary afterwards

Go to Vancouver, Montreal is too cold

Case closed. Go to Montreal. It will be cold, but the food, nightlife, music, and vibes will make it worth it.

Q on H1B
I have an offer from a new company. My current work employer has initiated the GC process and I’ve received I-140 and the 180 day period expires march end.

1. Will it be possible for the new employer to initiate the H1 transfer paperwork before the 180 day expiry with out any hassle?
2. Should I start work as soon as the H1 is approved?
3. When should I put in my notice period with the old employer?

Anything else to be careful about? Thanks.
