Thinking of transferring. Thoughts on FDD b4 transaction services vs. Management Consulting?

Excluding the Big 4, what are some good work firms to work for that focus on security assessments? I’ve heard Schellman and Coalfire are good but was wondering if there are any others to look into.

About to hit promo at big 4 strat consulting. Any tips for breaking into corp strat at faang/banks/retailers? It’s my dream job but I’m not sure how to position my resume. I have M&A deal cycle experience and corporate growth strategy experience. Unsure if i just throw it all on there and take off my internships (at name brand companies), where to put my ug engineering degree (think umich Georgia tech or CMU). Really want to put my best foot forward. Thanks for any advice/networking support

So I'm considering a switch from law to consulting, and noticed EY has started posting salary ranges for positions. All the mid- to senior-level jobs I'm looking at are in the $95k to $150k range. Is that right? True for all the big 4? Seems super low. I guess I never thought about it before but how exactly do you folks get paid?

Can you expect to make 6 figures as an IT audit manager in industry like at a big 4? How are the hours compared to a big 4?

What’s the salary for campus hire in HCOL of non-b4 Tas?

I am an incoming analyst at a B4 consulting firm and completed an internship last summer. I networked with some managers and principals in areas of interest. Is it appropriate to send my resume to these very senior individuals 1 month prior to joining the firm to ask for potential staffing opportunities? Not sure about the etiquette in reaching out for staffing opportunities. My worry is if I wait till I reach I'll get staffed on a long-term project that doesn't align with my interests.

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad.
