You can do good certification, as my friend was from mainframe technology and studied for devops engineering for almost 6-7 months.

Some good certification also provides hands-on project or assignment which will be really helpful. He was able to get job.

The only con i found that, he had to fake his previous experience as devops engineer as he was not getting shortlisted since he was already 2.5 yoe with different tech background. So faking his experience he gave lot many interviews till he got selected.

So its one of the way he switched his technology. And the other way is internal project change after upskilling yourself, not sure how tough it is to get internal project for devops belonging from nontech.

I have got Offer from Publicis Sapient, CTC 14LPA, Permanent Remote work. However I have heard recently they are firing lots of resources , they are engaged in hire and fire policy.
