Singapore.
Dubai. Has plenty for everyone and slightly less expensive. Only slightly
Agree Singapore. It’s very easy to get around and has plenty of activities for all ages (many covered above). For example, Orchard Road is nice for walking around, shopping, and eating. The night markets also have great food in a clean and safe environment. And the Sunday brunch (if you happen to be there that day) at the Ritz Carlton is pretty awesome. Even better if it’s during Formula 1 weekend. Just skip the durian
Agree with BCG1 on the Durian. The brunch in St. Regis might be better though. Service too. #SPGLoyalist :P
I lived in both and would rate them equally good options. Agree with whoever said Singapore is slightly more expensive. I will say that Dubai’s weather now is incredible until March/April, and it’s soon gonna be monsoon season in Singapore which is unpleasant .
Singapore has a lot for kids - such as night safari, bird park, marina bay , universal studios etc
Singapore! Highly recommend night safari
OP - I spent most of last year in Singapore on an engagement. Tons of things to do for kids. PwC1 covered most of the things. Disclaimer though: don't know a lot about Dubai.
Dubai has desert safari, sand dune bashing, Burj Khalifa, some epic restaurants in the Jumeira, Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi close by, tons of shopping options (esp jewelry). From a pure family/kid fun perspective, I would pick Singapore
Yes, I used to live in Dubai and if u get the right time of year (weather) could be great with kids - beach, water sports, desert camping, in addition to above.
Mck1, any reason you vote for Singapore bs Dubai ?, asking because I know a bit about Dubai from business travels but nothing about Singapore
Thank you all - I see a lot more votes for Singapore than Dubai ....
