Yeah, pretty much. Everyone is looking for unicorns that have the exact industry experience and. Lot of PM experience. I was inclined at an Amazon job, but didn’t get it because I don’t have accounting experience. Otherwise the HM said she’d hire me on the spot. Kind of strange to me, not Ike I couldn’t learn pretty quickly.

Yeah I’m definitely noticing lots of Senior PM positions and few PM positions.

One for the group. Just got a dog and need a car with more space. Would like a E63 wagon, but don’t want a payment right now. Any “performance” wagon recommendations?

In loving memory of my favorite tax form...
What tax form am I ?

In me two world collide
The diff'rence side by side
Three parts to make a whole
Complete me? Takes a toll

Just shy of twenty years,
Yet nothing I don't hear
My older brother - gone
Once loved, now without home

Great wealth is on display
Within four columns laid,
My only wish to see
My beloved Iris pleased

My west - I place my books
My east - they're taxed by crooks
My south - it holds it all
The world within its palm

America needs a new political party, like immediately. The Democrats have turned into woke, book burning authoritarians and the Republicans can’t seem to fully excise a man whose rhetoric and conspiracies are a cancer to both party and country. How did we get here?

I am working in hcl form last 6 years. Month of December I got very bad project and when I asked to release, manager and his boss told me release is not in picture. Then I put down the paper.

In hcl you will get some idiot people they don’t have capability to hire a resource and don’t have capability to work but they will play with others.

Any how next month i am leaving from HCL and last day I will send mail to whole hcl that why I am leaving and I will mention his name.

Thoughts on becoming a "Growth & New Initiatives PM"?

I was a regular PM managing my own vertical and now have the opportunity for a new role in the org. No promo or cash related, just jurisdiction wise.

I'd be focusing on:
For old product-
-Free Trial
For new product-
-Building out from scratch
-UI/UX related user feedback
-sales and marketing focus
-use cases and features

Is this a good move career wise? Love being a PM and looking to grow.
Prefer new product > old

Hi everyone! I recently transitioned from a technical project manager role to an integrations product manager role. I am loving this so much more than project management and I’m very eager to learn more! I was curious what are some of the best books, articles, courses that have helped you grow the most? And do you have any other tips and recommendations for someone just starting out in this career path?

Thank you in advance!

I am Senior Project Manger and Product Owner in the government arena. I had 10 years experience in product ownership, software engineer management and agile, business and strategic consulting prior to jumping over to the public sector. Current pay is 170s. I am looking at moving back over to the private sector. Is it reasonable to expect that level of pay for a project/program manager role?

How tough is it to break into a FAANG PM role at mid-level if you have less prestigious experience? I have 10+ YOE in product, but some was at a tiny meh startup that fizzled out, some was in the digital wing of a large old healthcare org, and though my current role is GPM at a “name brand” tech company, it’s on the smaller side. Went to a good-but-not-Ivy school. What qualifications and experience are FAANG companies looking for when hiring mid-level PMs? Can I break in at mid-level from here?

Been a PM for 6 years and I feel jaded about the role. I don’t think I add value besides being a product sales person for customers and talking “business speak”. I have delivered features that didn’t require PM work. None of the features I tried to push will be built. I now build what engineering and leaders want. Also we are very short staffed and other than critical features I don’t envision new work. Thoughts?

What's the best strategy to land a PM rotation at Google in the Bay area? Any particular Product areas who are more open to giving folks an opportunity?

I saw the following question in written format - no ability to ask questions. I know there is no right or wrong answer but is there even enough information in the question to make a good analysis and reasoning?
Prioritize the following
·       Optimize student search
·       Implement ability to apply payments to a bill me later order
·       Add support for cancelling an order in process
·       Upgrade security service
·       Migrate to a new API for student information
Add addit

Advice needed. Love product management, and love my industry, but not my current employer. Also have a non-compete, in a state that seems to be pro-non-compete. Thoughts?
