I feel the same way. I am a recent grad and started my career literally right when everything moved virtually. I have been trying to keep an optimistic mindset, but it is definitely difficult. Been on the bench for quite some time now and starting to worry about how this will affect my career moving forward. I guess we don't have to worry too much...right? If you and I are both feeling this way, surely there are hundreds of others. Best of luck!
My firm has been affected pretty significantly by the COVID crisis, and has changed my role/title outside of consulting. I just graduated in 2019, and I’m also really concerned this is going to affect my career long term. It’s important to remember that we’re still quite young and have a lot of time to course correct/build a career. This is just a bump in the road, and things will work out!
Its normal to feel this way, stay patient and stay focused.
