Im sorry but if you’re apparently doing 80 hr weeks, which sorry, you probably aren’t. Then there is something wrong with your agency and how they plan/staff work, or you’re extremely inefficient. Instead of bitching - find the root cause and fix it.
Well, I think we all expected a more articulate response than that from a copywriter. None the less you've missed the material point. This work is pretty easy to love given the range of options. And, if you don't the fault is entirely your own. The age range above reflects those who realize this simple truth and those who think it's someone elses job to make them happy.
This later group will eventually mature but it will hurt. Savor the heartache - it will define you.
Totally agree with you. Lot of people just complaining. I have friends with shitty jobs who would love to have half of what we have.

I think it's nearly impossible to find a profession where a large amount of the people aren't complaining. At least in American culture it seems like that's just the way it is. The grass is always greener runs in the veins of capitalism. We inherently want more or want something better than what we have. The best you can do is what you're doing, work under/surround yourself with motivated people. As with anything in life. I was kidding about being 17 btw, I'm 26.

I don’t think age really has anything to do with it to be honest. I’m 25, and I hear just as many young people complain as older people. Many times, older and complacent individuals complain in front of those they manage and it allows those younger individuals to begin the cycle of complaints. If you see a very positive, impactful manager, then most of the time their subordinates are very happy/motivated people. It boils down to communication and culture.
I’ve personally been blessed with an amazing manager who I know will continue to mentor me throughout my life.
complaining is different from constructively critiquing. complainers don't get promoted. it shows you're weak and unfit to lead. learn your shit without complaining, and once you do, speak up to make change. ours is an idea industry, and your ideas will be heard, and acted upon if they're constructive and presented coherently.
