What kind of security clearance do attorney positions with domestic agencies require? I’ve been disincentivized from seeking positions with the federal government because I’m not confident about my ability to obtain a TS clearance (high short term and medium term debt, bad credit, messy bank statements, expunged misdemeanors). But I’m not trying to stay in big law if I could land federal government at half the salary. Is it worth pursuing before cleaning up my risk factors?

Can anyone help me levels set? received an offer from a recently acquired AI startup for $130K to join on as Product & Program Manager. Startup was Series D before acquisition and is now private.

With my 5 YOE in Product & what the role entails I asked if there was room for negotiation as an average I found was $150k. Am I being unreasonable? Live in HCOL, would be remote, and require travel 1x per month. Currently at $125K

I have a tech background and 12 years of experiencem I have always done both project and product management. I'm now switching jobs and have received two very good offers. One as senior technical project manager, one as senior product manager. Somehow I'm more attracted by the company that offered me the project management position, but the other company, offering a role in senior product management, pays way more. I'm unsure about what career is better for my future and growth potential.
