This is a potentially dumb question but when you are allocated a certain round of revisions does the last/final version count in that number?
For example, we have four rounds budgeted for an animation, if we provide feedback on R3 are we able to give feedback on the next round as well or do the “four rounds” refer to the four delivered videos?

4 Rounds means the 4th round is the last round to make comments. So the next time you see it - which would be round 5 - that’s it, you’re out of rounds.

Wait, you plan on limiting your rounds of revision? That's crazy!

Next thing you know, you'll be getting the head honcho's feedback BEFORE final approval. Nuts I tell ya!

Thanks everyone! I think our calendar was just built incorrectly so I started to doubt myself

like

4 delivered videos are your deliverables. Rounds of edits refers to notes received from the client. So I’m your case, revision 4 would be your final version for approval.

Also be ready for those “rounds” to flex. If clients aren’t there yet they’ll want to keep going. Be ready to let them know it’ll be an overage if they want to keep tweaking.

like

I'm with an animation studio and we tend to give an extra round for notes simply bc of the swoop and poop factor (client's client goes back on their direction or the uninvolved CMO just saw it and had a bazillion notes).

Freebies aren't good but we're more willing to give more and take a hit on our margins if it means the creative looks better.

You can also negotiate the number of rounds.

Good question tbh. SP1 and FSP1 said something different. I think I agree with SP1 so it would be a good idea to clarify with the producer/editors on their definition of “rounds”/how many edits will be provided before KO.

Nope, meant the same thing. The 4th video you received notes on is your last round of notes. Your final version would technically be a v5. Sorry for the confusion

Hi all, new to fishbowl. I am currently a PTA working in homecare. I am considering changing career paths to non-clinical. Everything I search for available jobs in the pay range that I need seems to come up as sales, (Sr, executive, etc) I have zero sales experience, but could see myself working as a healthcare liason, recruiter, care coordinator, or pharm sales rep. I live in Dayton, OH. I would love some insight or feedback. I also see Gpac recruiting popping up, is this a reputable co? Ty!
