This is a query regarding a course.

I am currently enrolled in PGP Data Science and Business Analytics offered by Great Learning (Great Lakes Institute of Management) and University of Texas, Austin. It's completely online and 11 months. Is this course equivalent to a Masters/ MBA? Do recruiters consider this course as a valid one?

My wife and I have 2 children. We got married young and I have handled all expenses since marriage. I've even paid for some of her schooling and have encouraged her to continue finishing her Bachelors (she has difficulty choosing what to study and insinuated that when I mention the drawbacks of certain fields, it puts her off studying at all, she's also in student loan debt because her family took out loans in her name and never paid them off).

Long story short, now we have....

Do your letter of recommendations need to be specific to each school you apply to or do your recommenders submit one letter of Rec for you that is broader since all schools will see the same letter? I’m applying to 4 schools and don’t know if I need to tell them to write four letters one per school

Hi! I’m a first-year associate working at a large regional firm. I attended a well-ranked, but regional law school and my grades weren’t stellar. School was never very motivating for me, and I put way more effort into internships and networking than my studies during law school. Luckily, I love to network and landed an awesome job at a big firm. Eventually, I’m hoping to work in-house. My question is this, will my grades always follow me? I’ve heard that with time and experience, not so much.

Hello! I’ve been in Compliance now Dow approx 6 years and want to make myself marketable. Besides a JD what other masters can I obtain?

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

I recently started a new role, accepted the job because of an awesome interview with the hiring manager who got me really excited about the opportunities at this new company. Been there a short time, and today I find out they are planning to layoff the entire group I’m with because of a restructuring in the next few weeks. Previously joining Adobe, I was in a customer facing role and loved it. I would travel and sell Edtech, pretty good WLB. I have 5 YOE in big law as an environmental attorney. I’m hoping to make a move in-house soon, but I don’t see in-house environmental positions come up very often.
