Looks like this was an update worth doing, especially with enhancing the scientific rigor of the curriculum. It is also worth exploring how socio-economic circumstances play a role in the field as well. Given the apparent desperate need among many of our American citizens for introspection and mental health therapy, I say Kudos to the APA for making these revisions.

I'm wondering if Psychology might move from a Social Studies course to a Science course. At our school, psychology is taught by our social studies department, but I always felt it straddled the two, and this new focus pushes it even more into the Science camp.

During COVID did your school make any changes to its sick day policies? What were these changes and are they still in place? I'm not sure how our district can claim to care about the safety of staff and students when all of us are still coming to school sick because we seemingly have no choice.

I’ll be retiring from a public school system in the next 3-5 years. My husband, a Navy vet, and I are tossing around the idea of then relocating to a country that has a military base nearby. Good evening everyone,

I have to rant and seek advice. It’s my 5th year teaching overall. I’m a 1st year at a new district it’s been really nice except for just some very small inconveniences: no classroom budget, too many meetings during planning time, printers are so bad that I had to bring mine from home, my district gives teachers chromebooks for laptops. I’m a a point where if I was invited to come back next year I’d say tell them no, am I crazy, is it just me? Please help
