This is for my real estate agents. I’m brand new into the business and I adore the work. What tips or pointers can you give to a new agent- I’m in Las Vegas if it helps to be specific. If anyone has any book recommendations that’d be awesome as well. I’m looking to learn anything and everything. For example, learning what I can and can’t do to make a deal close

Go with a big-rig real estate agency, go through their training courses and seminars, take it all in. Once you feel like you’ve learned all there is to learn from their material AND still don’t like the big-rig feel of the office, look for a small mom-n-pop agency. Those tend to train you more one on one directly from the broker, speaking from experience.

Good luck!

I am in a long distance relationship with someone who is currently in B school. He spends pretty much all his breaks and holidays traveling with his classmates. Most of the time I am fine. But for some important holidays and my birthday, I told him we should spend time together. He just said it’s more important for him to bond with his classmates and ignore my ask. It’s really disappointing and I don’t know what else to tell him. Is that a reasonable ask or am I being dramatic?

Y’all I am struggling on these “light” home improvement projects we decided to take on with a recent house purchase. Plan was just to replace carpets, paint some walls, and replace kitchen appliances. Now added on new faucets, other bathroom hardware / mirrors / toilets / medicine cabinets / exhaust fans, baseboard recaulking and cleanup, kitchen sliding door, ceiling fan rewiring and install, window replacements… how do I rein it in?? So stressed out and we keep delaying move in. 🤯😱😭
