I wouldn't care what your current managers think of you. No job is worth your mental health. If something happened to you the form would hire a replacement for you tomorrow. If you have something lined up, put your notice in, and leave. If not - start finding something and maybe take some vacation to at least get a break.
Don’t let anyone steal you of your peace and joy. No paycheck is worth it.

Yes, do what's best for yourself. But also have something else lined up first.
I also just left after over 4 months. Do what makes you happy. The idea that you need to stay at a job for a certain amount of time is not real - it’s really just a matter of how you tell your story to future employers.
Yupppp
Related question on this front: when you face questions in interviews about leaving the job after a short time, do you think it's fair game to share that you found the environment toxic?
Thank you!

Recruiters keep calling. Managers keep hiring. I've also been promoted each time.
If you do good work. If you give your best. If you leave in good terms, you'll be fine.
If you handle your reason for leaving with grace and confidence a hiring manager will be fine.
Your life path is not owned by others.
I’d also talk to your people lead about what’s toxic. Is if your team? A client? Maybe you could change jobs here and get a year in. Only if the work felt better and did not impact your health that is. I hated the first six months I thought I’d made the worst mistake ever and then.. it started to change. I got a new boss and processes changed and I did file an HR complaint when one person kept bullying me. That person has left. Things can change. Good luck either way you go!
I was super stressed out and didn't like consulting one bit because of the never ending work, so I decided to leave and indeed left in just 5 months. Don't worry about the management and do what you think is best for your mental health. All the best!
Better to leave after 4 mo ths (clearly bad fit, have a good explanation and what you learned from it) than 1 year as a manager.
