Need advice. Have an offer to go to an amazing agency with a big pay bump, title increase and fully remote. But the account we’d be hired to work on seems fun but not really the account you’d expect to pump out award-winning work (although I think there is potential!). Thinking we could go work on it for a year and worst case try and transfer to a new account if we’re bored. Does it make sense to get our foot in the door this way at a great agency? Or are we losing a year of career development?

Looking to move up to a senior BI engineering role. Mostly been a Microsoft BI guy with tons of SQL and various ETL tools experience (10 YOE to be exact). However, I don’t know any python at all but it seems like that is the last missing piece to getting into a high paying engineering job these days (~150K+). What is everyone’s thoughts on this? It seems like all the job listings mention it.
