I just got a promotion, but I feel so unmotivated and anxious. My bosses are providing me with new opportunities, but I also feel like my work the past few months hasn’t been the best and I’ve made mistakes along the way. I feel like I’m one step from them realizing i’m not as good as they think I am. I’m not sure if I need a break or a career change.

I am a clinical research coordinator working in Austin, Texas. I have my Masters in Cell & Molecular Biology and have a year of laboratory research experience.

I’ve been in my position for 5 months now. I make $27 hourly which amounts to about $51,000 yearly. Am I being under paid? Are all coordinator positions hourly? As a laboratory researcher I was salary :(

I’m over my company. I just recently got passed over for a promotion to a level 8 manager position. Weird thing is it is for the team I am on. Remote vs in person for software developers in their early career. I started my career in 2021 fully remote. After the office opened again in 2022, I was able to learn a lot about the system from other people in the office and solve bugs faster. Without a doubt made my job easier. Lots of my colleagues still work from home in 2022. I can’t see why they are making it harder for themselves on purpose. I’m fairly confident they can afford to get to the office because they have teslas and shit.
