Is anyone teaching online and in person at the same time in prek or kindergarten? I am trying to figure out how this is going to work. Half of my class will be in person and half online five days a week. I have some major behavior problems and no other adult in the room to help. I am expected to do whole groups and small groups for in person and online students. Any advice? What have you been doing? I feel this is super unfair as I am doing twice as much work.

Why do I let it bother me so much that my classroom paraprofessionals are on their phones or computers so much during instructional time? I know they wouldn’t be doing much else, but keeping a closer eye on their caseload students would be very helpful. Plus, the students nor I are allowed to be on our phones. I don’t want to micromanage, but I am always so irked and frustrated about it during class! Is it just me? Do I need to relax?
