This may be a naive question, but would someone be willing to explain the different stages of startups (seed round, series b, etc) to me? I’m new to tech and I see these descriptors with really no idea what they mean or what to look for. Appreciate any insight! 😊

Seed round comes very early in a company. Think: no product, no sales, no revenue.

Series A onward come thereafter. Only difference after is the round of financing. Obviously some technical differences in cap structure, but this is a high level explanation.

I hope there is some scam going on in the name of Fujitsu India consulting.
Last week I got selected and they collected documents after week they rejected saying high expectations. Earlier they accepted for same salary hike.

Same happened for my friend today. He also got selected and they collected all the acedemic , previous company documents salary slips and they rejected him saying same.

They could have told the same when they ask for salary expectations. I feel something fishy.

Anyone read and/or work through The Disciplined Entrepreneurship module. Thoughts on following the process?

My wife wants to found a SaaS startup. She would work on product, and would need a technical co-founder to build it. I would support on the market and commercial side on a PT basis. Should I take a (small) equity position to give us a combined majority stake so that we can keep the dream alive if the third founder pulls out? Or would this be discouraging to the third founder and/or potential investors? I’m thinking 45:10:45… could I go higher?
