This may be a question coming too late for me, but do most of our health insurances that we get through our company cover for COVID? Please don’t say it depends, want to know whats the common standard

So it would depend on the service you are getting. For treatment, such as breathing treatment or ICU care - yes most plans cover but the level of coverage is based on your plan. Do you have a high deductible or copay? How close are you to your out of pocket max (MOOP or OOP) matters too.

You really have to look at your.specific plan information to know how much you plan will pay for hospital treatment.

There is no approved drug treatment. Most plans likely won't cover experimental treatment although such drugs might be covered by a grant or the hospital being tested.

If you look and you don't have coverage that you feel comfortable, you can only change plans in certain instances - marriage, divorce, birth, loss of job, move.

I’m sorry you don’t want to hear the real answer, but it truly is “it depends”...

My health insurance plan really only covers services at the health centers run by the plan. If I need COVID testing, it will be 100% covered IF I get it done at one of their health centers.

IFS hiring freeze still on going? I was just about to start the process before Covid.

Hi all,
I have been a practicing DPT (doctor of physical therapy) for 9 years and am a certified orthopedic specialist. I have worked in multiple environments including hospital based outpatient sports ortho and acute care. I am about to finish up my MBA with a focus on healthcare administration, and am worried that my current place of work may not have a place for me to grow into. I'm hoping that some of you may have suggestions of roles or positions to pursue? Thank you!

Signs I’m getting old: I tripped and fell, and somehow partially tore my ACL. Have to figure out if I want surgery, and how to tell the team—at the very least, I’ll need a ton of PT. I’m a first year associate and the only woman on all of my teams, so I’m freaking out about how this is going to reflect on me. I know I’m overthinking this, health comes first, etc…but I’m still so scared to tell people.

If you work at a small agency in NYC, could you tell me what your monthly health insurance premiums are for families? I'm at a small agency in NYC and the health benefits for a family are almost prohibitively expensive, ~1,500/mo with a high deductible. Would love to know if we're competitive or not and if not, share that info with our HR and bosses.

So I have completely lost interest in my area of practice mainly because I haven’t been exposed to many matters (our team is really slow) and I am the most junior in the team. So billable work is never constant. I feel like this has impacted my interest and stagnated my growth. I am thinking of moving into a different area of practice that I’m interested in. Has anyone ever done this? I’m actually depressed and I really hate being given work now. I have ADHD. Please advise

Can someone explain how it possibly makes sense to buy, purely from a financial perspective, in sf right now? I want to, but a 2b mortgage seems like it’s ~$5k in the areas I’m interested in whereas rent for a comparable unit is $2.9-3.5k/month. Have never lived here before so not sure if this is normal or not? Is the covid rental discount that extreme and prices are usually closer to the monthly mortgage amount?

Idk who needs to hear this but don’t just accept feeling lucky to have a job during a pandemic as an excuse to not get your promotion AND raise. If they say they don’t have money, issa lie. They have it, just not for you.

It goes without saying but always keep that resume fresh and be on the lookout for yourself because they SHOL ain’t lookin out for us.

🗣Don’t let them assign your value, know it for yourself and leave if you have to!!

Background check question. Had a grad school project on my resume with a company. Project was 8 months work with company and 3 months of prep training. This was considered a volunteer role and I have no W2s or anything associated.

On my BGC I listed the 11 months listed above. My previous resume listed this under my education, so I never had exact dates. Grad school was several years back.

Q1 is this kosher to list 11 months?
Q2 anything I should do to clarify?
