Any suggestions on how to make my way into PE?

I am looking for a referral for a job in Pfizer. I am a Pharmacist with many years of Pharmacy and Business experience. I am also in the process of starting my MBA. I would appreciate the help greatly as I have applied to other Pharma positions without referrals and not had much success this way. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have others found it hard to transition from Audit to Financial Analyst? All the recruiters I’m meeting with are telling me I probably won’t get an interview since they’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running.
It’s discouraging because I’m a fast learner, and from talking to my friends who are Financial Analysts, it doesn’t seem like what we do is so dissimilar.

I spent a year in tax investigations where I believe I was thriving ( I was going to be an assistant manager in July 2023), I had a lot of assistant manager jobs, I even drafted a Code 9 report to HMRC which my manager said was 80% of an actual report, he then added the 20% and submitted it.
After I realised I couldn't maintain all the unpaid overtime I was working I decided to take a turn and go to compliance, so now I work in CT compliance. I feel very surpressed.

Been in the industry a while, current Head of DSPV and looking to jump back into FT work. I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. Spoke to a lot of others who have left and seems like being pigeonholed or staffed on projects not related to the actual core work of the practice is the common reason. I have completed my B.Tech. on 2020 and got a job in an MNC with a 3.8LPA, but due to COVID, the onboarding was delayed to Feb 2021. During this time, I had enrolled myself for a distance M.Tech. degree.
I recently joined a new company with a 10.1LPA a month back.
Just two weeks back, my M.Tech. degree is completed.
Should I have some increment in my new company as to my M.Tech. completion?
