Unpopular opinion: the FIRE community is contributing to an unhealthy workaholic culture as we forestall healthy work-life balance in favor of reaching our “FIRE” numbers a few years earlier. Steps to recover from massive gambling (online) loss? Every week that I pay out sizeable amounts in the $5-15k range and feel so rotten. I win sometimes too - just only in the $1-2k range. I have blown all my life savings in the past 3 months to an online bookie I don’t even know. I have severe anxiety now and can’t sleep at night thinking about how I’ve ruined my life. This week on Wednesday I was down $7k, next day i miraculously covered that loss & was up $2k only to lose $11k in 6 hrs.

How much can I ask for Data Engineer 3 role in walmart?

Yoe- 7
Skills- big data, python, AWS
Offer from other product base company- 32 lpa(29 fixed+ 3 variable).

I had discussion with HR, they said they can max go for approx 34.5 lpa ( 26 fixed + 4.9 variable+ 3.6 stocks for 4 years).
I asked for atleast 28 fixed but it seems they are not agree. Is there any chance of negotiations.
