I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

Book late, fly expensive, and capitalize on miles. Much much better than distanced-based. Party is over for mileage runners.

Alaska is the best idea for you if they are on your route. But if you aren't west coast chances are they won't go where you always need to.
LOL! I am telling you lately flights have just been cheap coz of #oil. Any other recommendations on mileage stuff?
OP, just go with one of the mainline carriers and stick to them. Your points as a multiple of spend increase as your status. I.e. AA and UA start you off at 5 miles/ dollar, and end up at 11 for EXP/1K
I love the new spend based mileage program... my flight's $1200 a week for a 1000 mike flight: 13k miles a week vs the previous 4k... but I see how it could suck on a cheap route...
