Partner and I are traveling overseas at the end of the month to the Caribbean with a requirement to produce a negative PCR test.
Do we have to pay for this or would insurance cover the cost?

I am interviewing with a Series C startup, tech, launched 4 years ago in Europe and is now building out a team to GTM in the US. I currently work with enterprise clients in supply chain/tech, avg deal size is over 500k. Avg deal size for this start-up is less than half of that. I am considering switching practice areas. I currently practice in personal injury litigation on the defense side. I have been in the PI practice in some way, shape or form for the last 9 years. I have always found trust and estate work to be interesting and would like to transition into that area of practice, on both the litigation and planning end of it. Question for boutique litigation firm fish: Is there a standard timeline for partner at boutique firms? E.g. at my AmLaw 200 firm you are up for partner year 8-10, then either counsel or out - is it similar in boutique lit?

For context, I'm an associate in Commercial Lit. I'm not chasing partner but I'd like a few more years getting substantive work in complex lit in a larger city. I'm wondering if I'll be "aged out" as a lateral since I'm not in the 3-5 year sweet spot.
