Tech Mahindra Hey guys, I attempted Hackathon by tech Mahindra (for jr java developer 1-3 yr exp). After 3 days I received a call from hr confirming that I have been shortlisted and took hr round on that call. Later I received a document verification mail asking for all essential docs which are required for joining, but didn't received any offer letter yet. When I cross checked mail address with my friend in tech Mahindra, he confirmed that such hr exists with same e-mail id. Is it normal in tech Mahindra?

What exactly do you mean by “advance in the public sector”? Is your goal to be a strategy partner at a top public sector consulting firm? A cabinet secretary? A Senator? A head of an agency division? The public sector is massive and the advice I’d give differs DRASTICALLY depending on what your goals are.
@D2 sure! Happy to share
Depends. What is your goal? Also HKS is an overpriced degree mill with a 40+% acceptance rate.

Neither. Get lucky and join a winning presidential campaign, get an M7 MBA and go MBB, or be a software developer with a TS/SCI FS Poly. Or grind it out as a congressional staffer and then do government relations/lobbying.
Just about any top 10-15 MBA would be better than an HKS MPP. The MPP classes have a ton of kids in their early 20s with little to no work experience. MBA programs give you access to a much better recruiting pipeline.
Disagree, very agency focused. Former IC here. Georgetown, GW, SAIS, and AU all FAR more prevalent than HKS in junior roles and I can't think of any HKS masters grads at senior levels. Goes for most of DOD too.
No, those programs have two totally different goals and provide very different educations. Yale has a joint MPP/MBA between Jackson/SOM that might give you some options if you don’t know exactly what you want to do or want the flexibility.
