This month I have come to facing that reality that I need to leave my current company due to lack of growth within my career path staying in sales and business development. Primarily no opportunity to not relocate to work remote. Not interested in switching to marketing or enablement there. I have an interview with HR but it states that if it goes to the hiring manager, it will notified my manager.
Should I tell my manager now or just until it notified my manager? I would feel stupid if the hiring manager didn't pick me

What threw me off was the interviewer asked me and I will quote them " with your current generation, work life balance is a huge deal. What do you think are the benefits of working?" They also told me they do "overtime".
Is it just me who thinks this was another way of saying we want you to work more than required?
