How do you get an interview at Google?

I’m convinced that the reason some of these firms are so prestigious is because they have intentionally exclusionary recruitment practices. I used to believe that you had to already be rich to get hired at MBB. Now being on the other side of the recruitment process , I really do feel that it rings true. I hate the way we evaluate candidates and decide on who is “high priority” during coffee chats.

This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. Anyone know of any openings within private equity firms? Fully licensed and working in Wealth Management for a large Financial Institution. Finishing up my MBA with a focus in mergers & acquisitions.

I’m sure it’ll vary depending on the specific terms of the agreement and ethos of the fund, but generally / anecdotally what would cost you to lose a VESTED carry? E.g. what if you leave to a competitor even when respecting the gardening leave / non poaching etc? What if you are let go for underperformance (but haven’t breached any rules / done anything unethical etc). Or what if you’re let go simply due to eg the fund reducing headcount or your team?

In private equity, how much money does each type of role at the firm make relative to one another? I know overall compensation varies with fund performance, I just wonder how the comp levels vary between the tech team, investor relations, the accounting team, the deal team, the portfolio monitoring team, the operations team etc. How does each team stack up against each other in pay? If you think of any other teams please feel free to include them.
