For those who started their firm after practicing in biglaw and compete with biglaw, how do your rates compare to what you would be charging in biglaw? Right now I’m charging approximately half (~$500) of what I’d normally be billed out as a senior associate/junior partner (~$1000) and have more work than I can manage, but I’m hesitant in raising my rates too much b/c I don’t want it to adversely affect my client relationships or our ability to generate new business. Thoughts?

I got an offer from Big 4 firm for 85K at senior level. Is that what I should be expecting. Also my current firm keep telling me that the work will be too much and I won’t be able to handle it. I just want to learn and grow and develop. Is the work unreasonable. I don’t mind working 70 hour weeks to get shit done during busy season at all!
