Hi Fishes, Right now I'm bursting my brains to make a decision which company to join and request your help. I have an offer from tcs for 13.5LPA and nagarro for 18LPA both for the role of associate project manager. I have been a lead at infosys with 8yoe. Keeping in mind that this is the first time i will be a manager please suggest which company is best to learn and secure as the global recession has already begun. TIA #nagarro #tcs Tata Consultancy Infosys Nagarro

when I have one of these moments I've found that the cringing doesn't fully go away until the next cringe moment... just gotta wait it out and time will make it feel better. Live and learn etc!!! Hang in there!
Mistakes happen, and do not define you. OC has ethical obligations for knowing receipt of mistaken privileged communications. Making, catching, owning up to and correcting mistakes are the right steps. The last steps are learning from it, growing from it, and moving on from it. Don’t be too hard on yourself.
If it makes you feel better, I once accidentally did the same... but also copied the SEC. Mistakes happen! Try not to beat yourself up too much. Given how you’re feeling it’s clear you take your job and ethical responsibilities very seriously. You are enough as is. Perfection isn’t possible or realistic, so just keep doing your best!
Same as everyone else! I just got used to cringe moments. But I also created a mini checklist for myself on a Post-It and stuck it on my monitor when I was a first year and I'd run through it quickly before every email. This included things like: TYPE IN "ABC" IN BCC LINE (this is so I don't let muscle memory (ctrl+s then enter) accidentally send out emails that aren't ready yet - I just remove it before I finally send), check to/cc boxes, check subject line adequacy, open every attachment (make sure no accidental footnotes or tracked comments in word; make sure correct version of document is attached), check for tone of voice, triple check recipient name and spelling, check for typos... Whatever fits your usual to-dos, you should write it down until you always check for common mistakes every email.
It happens! Just try to be more careful going forward and move on. I’m sure senior associate and partner don’t think you’re an idiot. We all make mistakes!
I hear you! I sent an email to the wrong person today as well. Meant for my colleague but mistakenly sent it to OC. Also not a huge deal, but still cringing myself. I agree with the other person who said it really doesn’t go away until the next time we do something cringe worthy. There is nobody in this world who is perfect, even if they think they are. 😊 So don’t beat yourself up and just remember that you are human.
Try to learn from it so it doesn’t happen again. The cringe feeling will go away. We all make mistakes
We’ve all done something similar. The good thing is you’ll never make that mistake again.
