Yeah, been waking up at 4 am. However, baby cried for 2 hours last night so did not wake up early this morning. I try to stick with my schedule, but allow myself flexibility when I know I need it.
This is honestly I think advice that everyone needs. Wake up early but if you need a few hours for yourself or other life commitments don’t feel guilty and get back on track when you can.
I usually study 1-2 hours after work. I know a lot of people say to do it early but I know if feel more burnt out than I already do if I did that, so I made the choice to tell work that I have a block of time at night that I study and if there are things I wasn’t able to finish during the work day I work on it after studying. And on weekends I don’t sleep in, I get up at the same time that I do during the week and I study for 3-4 hours before any weekend activities.
Different things work for different people, I studied a little different for each test trying to figure out what worked best for me. For me personally, studying a few hours a day over a longer period of time worked best for me. People will say you should study tons of hours and only focus on that while studying, but I knew I couldn’t ignore my personal life so I didn’t. It’s been really tough but I’m getting ready to take my final test! Feel free to DM me if you have any other questions or if you just want to talk
My children went into deeper sleeps at night so i would get back up after putting them to sleep and study for about 3 hours every night on weekdays and then on weekends during one of the naps which stretched about 2 hours plus 3 hours in the evenings after they went to sleep. It was really tough and i had to adjust during busy seasons at work bc i needed the evening times to chug through more work so i needed to make up the studying hours elsewhere. I also would do MC questions while i ate lunch and dinner and while i laid down with my baby who i coslept with. Super tough but i passed all 4 like this
I study after baby goes to bed for 2 hours. On weekends, I study during nap time. Sometimes I try to fit in a a multiple choice section during lunch. I also do a cumulative 50 question mc every night before I go to bed just to see if there is somewhere I need to focus more or if I need more help somewhere.
I usually study at night after work for a bit. But I’m allowing myself the flexibility since I’m also wrapping up some credits
From my experience, you have to make sacrifices when studying. Just know that it will come to an end once you’ve past all four exams and you’ll be able to participate in all the events from then on.
