SDE1. They both asked me for expected CTC.
For both I quoted 20lpa fixed and discussion is going on.
What do you think which figure should I agree on if they offer a counter. And which of the two you think is better to join considering brand value and career progression.

What’s Deloitte S&O Manager 1 Salary?
Is this fixed pay CTC of JPmorgan includes employer pf and graduity also apart from employee pf?
And employer Contribution to PF is same amount as employee or it's just the minimum amount 1800 per month?
Whole calculating in-hand salary should i deduct PF amount once or twice from the total CTC?JPMorgan Chase

In 20 years, 3 big 4s, a mid-market, and a small firm, I have learned that they are all miserable and toxic in their own special ways. Now I’m just hunkered down and counting the days to retirement.
If they’re all toxic, might as well aim for big 4 eh?
I’m only staying because I didn’t hear back from any applications. Seems they’re only hiring for accounting staff with at least 5 years of experience. So, I feel you about sitting through the dumpster fire every day. It’s busy season now and I’ll be too exhausted to even send out apps.

I decided to quit the toxic job and now searching for new job, as unemployment is more there is more competition in the market. Still getting raid of toxic environment is good feel as while working in a toxic company we are harming our mental and physical health. I believe health is important.
I figured I’d be at the 2 year mark by the time I left my previous place. I’m semi-competent, and have f the next place was terrible, I’d know pretty quickly and could just keep interviewing, and would leave a short stint off my resume, no one really cares much about gaps anymore.
