Anyone made a pivot to a construction project manager from another field? I’ve got an amalgamation of experience from other fields (safety, procurement, logistics/supply chain, project management).

I am planning on applying to HS but I’m hesitant about W vs INSEAD. I am not sure where I want to move post MBA (Europe vs US vs ME vs Asia) and so I’m looking at the most “global” name and network. Any advice on W vs INSEAD?

I am relatively new at my in-house position on a very small legal team and have realized that all of our organization’s policies/procedures are very poorly written. My boss, the GC, clearly drafted many of them (she is not a great writer, unfortunately). Has anyone here done a complete overhaul of P&Ps or does this seem like more of a gradual project, improving on policies ad hoc as they are updated? Also, any advice on suggesting edits/dealing with a boss who’s a bad writer?

So yesterday I woke up with an awful migraine; probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. It just so happened that my wife and I had things planned with the kids, but I literally couldn’t get out of bed. Long story short, my wife is still pissed that I spent most of the day in bed because of how I was feeling, and in her words, I should have just “sucked it up and dealt with it for us.” This pisses me off to no end. I’m 25 and have been working for the same bank for 2 years. Started as a call center agent and moved into a supervisor role.
