I don't have a lot of data points but the base raise and bonus increase seem low. I would have expected something closer to 15-20% increase in base. The stock increase is higher than I'd expect though.
Thanks for sharing. I would've expected a higher base increase too and as a result I think my base is good 10-15% under the market rate.
When I jumped from AD to D the raise was +13% base, +25% bonus (not including the impact of the increase in base), +60% in equity.
But now that I manage AD I know we are pretty set on offer for someone at promo. We target 90% of the midpoint so your raise will depend on where you are in the lower title band.
If you are at the very top of current title the base increase can be 5%. I was in the 3rd quartile so my base increase was higher.
Just wanted to share that after asking for a market competitive base, I was given regular 4% raise per the regular performance review AND another 4% for "adjustment". This was essentially the same amount of raise in absolute $$ I got for the promotion last year.
Moral of the story: you may get what you ask for but you will never get what you don't ask for.
10-15% raises were typical for promos. This may be a sign that you came in on the high side of the band before your promo
