Didn’t see it coming. Was an analyst on up and enjoyed the money and work but constantly being on call and basically having to ask permission as a 30 year old to go on a weekend trip weighed more now as a VP vs back then. Now I’m at a point where I don’t even care about clients, but my autopilot is good enough to get me by. Need a new job. It just wears on you.
I quit cold turkey as a 25 yr old 1st year associate. 3.5 years in banking. I didn’t see it coming. It kind of just snuck up on me and it was too much to keep going
So what'd you end up doing?
