I'd love to get a job in a video games studio. I have experience as a project lead (help deliver a program as part of a cross functional). What kind of skill would you say is essential to work in that environment and to actually get noticed when I apply. I'm very dedicated and will do almost anything to get the job done, so I'm willing to skill up to be able to get in.

I am in the last stages of an interview process and I really fucked up a 15-min talk with some on the team. I’ve already spoken with two collegues and it went very well, but this one I totally blew because I stuttered, was super nervous and could not answer the questions properly. Considering that I’m probably not a favourite for this one guy, what do you think my chances are for landing the job? Can I do something to “save” the situation?

Here is my issue. I left my firm this summer for an opportunity I should have known was to good to be true. I realized it wasn’t what I was led to believe. Was able to return to my old firm. The return was “a favor”. But includes conditions. I am not happy, and need a change and honestly more money now rather than in 6-8 months. I knew it would be ruff when I went back but I didn’t expect it to be this ruff. Is my recent history gonna be a huge hurdle to even get an interview?

I had an interview with TCS last Saturday, still no communication from HR regarding my interview status. Did they call and inform us about our candidate status. In the beginning portal there are also no updates. Only in a profile created state.
