Those who took the GRE - how long did you study? Self-study or take a class?

So I’ve been with FAANG for 5 years (I’m 30 y/o). I’m pretty comfortable with my situation. Got average grades at a good undergrad university, total comp ~300k. I’m debating Ivy League MBA. I don’t think it’ll benefit me at FAANG, but I’d like to start a company eventually. Worth it?

I just signed up for a class that lets me write my own objectives and goals, work on them all summer, log my hours and share my successes and I get ACT48 hours and graduate credits! I can’t believe it- I figure I was going to do the work anyway- so why not get something out of it… first time I’ve been excited about doing work over the summer! 🎉

My boyfriend isn’t supportive of this decision. He believes it will alter our plans (marriage, children etc). I am confused whether to do MS Or MBA in USA?
My long term goal is to reach a leadership position probably CEO level but I love tech as well.
Unfortunately I don't see MS helping me reach that position.

I am thinking about transferring to a much smaller private online program, specifically because they offer a concentration in organizational health, which directly builds on my doctoral research. Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?

Took the GRE and ended up performing poorly relative to my practice tests (326-331 on practice compared to 323 on test day). Am pretty disappointed, but is it worth retaking the test if I’m aiming for T15 (generally)? Thanks!

With my stats should I aim to apply to a couple of M7 MBAs now in R2, or should I wait until R1? GMAT- 740 (Q48,V41); 4 YOE in a boutique and then T2 life science consulting all in the UK. Promoted every year. Dont have that much in the way of ECs. Im a white male (eastern europe descent) if that changes anything. Any input helps!!
