Standing desk

Just bought a 27” curved monitor, very happy with it!

Don’t think I could survive without 2 monitors, definitely my best purchase for a home office

If you live alone and are WFH, how are you coping with the lack of "real" socialization? Video and phone interaction is just not the same; and I have tried "going out" to workout classes, see friends / family after work, etc. But the reality is, work time is the majority of our daily lives. As we get closer to the 2 year anniversary of WFH, I cannot ignore the negative affects of being isloated 10-12 hours a day.

Relocation to Bengaluru or any other location in hybrid model is a scam, you will see all other locals, nearby hometown people are taking leaves, managing their work from home, taking sick leaves frequently to avoid office traffic.
But, you will ended up paying high-cost in low-end PG, searching for flat rent which will cost you your entire savings.

Right now, work is slow due to statewide restrictions. There isn't much to do but we're still required to come to the office everyday. I waste around 3 hours daily between commuting and getting ready, on top of the surging gas prices. How do I talk my manager into letting us WFH? It's not like coming to the office does any difference.

This diversity thing is almost a joke....seriously. A lady says her goal is to focus on promoting women and she is celebrated. What if a man said the same thing regarding men....? where is fairness?

My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?
