In terms of communicating to them, I would really just find a moment during AM chit chat and let them know. Answer any questions they have that you feel comfortable answering. I find people don't think much of it until it happens. --- Some other things that helped me over the years, let HR know, and if you're comfortable, let security/reception know. Our receptionist has saved me from the unnecessary ambance call a few times over the years. I also have the same response, "don't call 911 unless..." (it's really just a hassle)... but unless you get an aura/warning beforehand and can rest somewhere, seizures are terrifying for other people to see, and even if you tell them, they might call out of concern (I get TC, so I'm just entirely muscle weak after). At one point I kept an 'incase of emergency' postcard on my bulletin board. Do you have a medical bracelet? I wear one just in case so at least EMS/T doesn't take me to the ER if they're called.

Just a thought but in addition to the advice by LDS1 you might also want to program an emergency contact into your phone so someone can call that contact without putting in your password

Done that. And I have fall detection setup to call my person from my Apple Watch.

He assumed I took the leave for mental health reasons although I never mentioned that to him). Looking for advice. I’ve secured a new job while on paternity leave from my current employer. I’ve lined up the transition between employers so I can give my two week notice once I’ve officially returned to work at my current employer. Should I consider giving them my notice before the end of my pat leave or wait until I finish it? I don’t want to burn any bridges with my current employer, nor do I want to disrupt the remainder of my leave.
