Sure A1: It’s a 1 year degree, which I don’t like since I’m looking for the full 2-year MBA experience. I think there are different intakes that allow for internship but it’s too quick IMO. It’s too consulting focused for me, I’m in tech and want to stay in tech. I don’t like the culture: they only did away with the hazing week a few years ago, and I’m vehemently against degrading things like that. The quality of students is subpar: the stats already give us a hint, but I have friends of friends there and the people are either not competitive or consultants on a break so they aren’t engaged. The program’s in France and I don’t like France (I learned French in school and visited, don’t like the French attitude towards foreigners), plus Singapore is openly racist and denied multiple study visas to black Insead students (I’m from Africa). Overseas placement is also very difficult, with many EUR b-school candidates competing for the few English speaking offices (London and Amsterdam). Instead’s language requirements try to ameliorate this but in many instances it’s not doable unless you’re fluent and already socialized into a country’s culture.
