Need advice: was seeing a girl for a few months, things ended early Dec. Both agreed it’s better off to be friends. I got Covid and then she did so she was in quarantine the last few weeks. How to not burn out during case prep? Unexpectedly got an interview with zero prior case experience and gave myself a crash course - did 10+ cases/day for a week. Assume starting TC is same at both or 10% more at the tech companies. That's the figure they're roughly giving me during interviews. Also coming from Deloitte.

Hi, I have given technical interview to TCS for Automation Testing on Saturday. After no communication from HR. Yesterday I received mail to upload documents in TCS iBegin Portal. I have Uploaded and status is pending for verification. Dashboard status is candidate registered against job. 18 days left for my LWD. What will be next process. My total experience is 3 years. I already have an offer of 6.9 LPA. How much can I expect from TCS for Automation Testing profile with 3 years exp?.

Got an interview with KPMG for senior associate - financial services. Most of my previous consulting work has been with technology and health care companies. Would it be too tough a transition to come in as an SC with no to little banking or financial services experience. I do like that space but don’t have much knowledge in lending and banking.

Idk how, but I got the offer. Still wondering if it’s real (it’s been 30mins since the phone call) because I thought I performed so poorly. I wouldn’t have passed myself. I hope the interviewers didn’t make a mistake (accidentally mixed up evals for another candidate, or the call was meant for another candidate w/ the same name). I decided to pursue MBA a little late in the game, and have only been volunteering since I decided to pursue (so only a few months). I have other ECs I’ve been doing longer but they aren’t great (head of a social group at work, member of other groups at work). Overall, is this EC profile super weak?
