Unless you still live with your parents, that’s a bit low

Might I assume you're early in your career, probably early or mid 20s?
If so, the numbers don't mean much... what's the department, what client, what team, what is your career plan?
Oh @director you think that’s still how it works? At that level you’re hired for any account (outside of pharma, maybe) - but that is the probably the lower end of the band. Check the laws, that’s probably right around the NY salary to make it where you don’t get OT.

Well, I made that amount 5 years ago, internal promotion... not complaining given where I'm at right now. But yes, it is considered low if that's what I was given 5 years ago.
Nevertheless, the points still hold for any level and any compensation level, especially in your 20s.
That sounds right for an internal promotion for someone just promoted to senior associate, I’ve seen them make between $50-$70k depending on experience.

You can bounce all you want. If you want a high paying job, go somewhere else... some waiters do make more in take home tips.
If you want a career, you can stay and see that number go up quickly if you're good.
11 years in now. I've moved to different countries within the agency network, got promotions, lateral moves, different departments, etc... while some of my friends opted to join higher paying jobs (real estate, project management, start ups flushed with money, etc).
Some of them stayed in their same positions for a long time because their salary is high and no one will offer them that kind of money with that little knowledge.
Go to a place that has opportunities or a large enough network to open opportunities. Go somewhere you like and can thrive.
Sounds low to me. I was making $75k as a senior associate but I think that was at the high end
Hi curious where you were working and which account did you make $75 as SA? Thank you!
That seems low. I'm entry level in media and I make that much.
Sounds accurate
Minimum salary in NYC is $58,500 if the company has over 10 employees and if the employee is not qualified for OT. So yes, that is low for a senior position.
Referring to annual salary not not hourly wages ....
Look up the DOL salary threshold in NYC
In this market? Take it, build your base of experience, look at long term path. If you feel it’s under to your skills, try and negotiate a review with raise 6 months in —- but in this climate & these times all raises/promos are on hold. You are lucky to have offers to weigh.
I’m making $55.5k with OT as senior associate at GroupM... where are people getting SA roles for $65-75k?! Please let me know!
You’re prob making more than us with OT
Seems low for cost of living. Our juniors in Boston don't make a hell of a lot less.
I make 65K as a senior associate and feel cheated. Can you look at your company’s Glassdoor for insight?
Is that at Golin?
Sounds around the average range for a senior associate
Is the $58.5k salary at Vayner? Seriously. Their pay bands are a notch below everyone else.
