You Need A Budget is a great tool that come with some strong budgeting methodology. Highly recommend checking it out. For net worth and investment tracking I use Personal Capital

EveryDollar is also a really good app and website for monthly budgets as well as for tracking your spending against your budget. To track your spending you can either add each item manually or link to your bank for a fee I think. Mint is also pretty good with similar features.

I’m a junior and I have the opportunity to join the employment and benefits group as a specialist. The alternative is VC/M&A.

I’m under the impression that joining the EB group will still give me decent exit ops, has more manageable workflow (less unexpected dumpster fires like in deal-work), and a somewhat better WLB because of my previous point.

Any disagreement/any other things I should consider before deciding?

If I’m right on the cusp of hitting the contribution reductions for a Roth IRA for 2021 (will potentially have a greater than $125k AGI depending on bonus amount, but likely won’t exceed $130k), what should I do? I can fully find the $6k right now to a Roth, fund like $5k and then wait until June when I find out my bonus amount to decide what to do with the rest, or should I just do an IRA->Roth conversion just to be safe?

I’m 25 and I just recently moved out of a big city and back in with my parents with an original intent to save and buy a house before 26. I also have student loans. Looking for advice here. Do I pay off the loans entirely and spend another ~6-12 months at home to save again for a down payment or just go straight for the down payment now and work on chipping at the loans? Down payment/closing costs and loans are roughly the same amount.
