Thoughts on accepting an offer knowing the possibility that you might decline their offer during the background check process? Is this ok? I have an offer, but im only given a few days to decide, but I am interviewing for another 2 companies that are a bit slow and I might get an offer from 1 or both of them before the end of this month. The 2 slower companies are my preference over the 1 that I have an offer for. Thoughts on how to navigate this?

Hi everyone, I got approved for an L4 position at Google in the Bay Area and wanted to know how much compensation I should be expecting. My decision came back really fast and the recruiter told me it was because interview and referral feedback was very positive. Currently an SDE2 at Amazon (promoted in April) in NJ with just over 2 YOE. My current base is ~150k and TC is ~180k. I read that the median TC for an L4 in CA is ~250k. Should I be expecting more because of my positive feedback? Thanks!

My current and past HR experience are in aerospace, restaurant group and mobile retailer. From the employers I've recently interviewed with, they average 15-20 reqs at a time. Any tips for transitioning from slow recruiting (around 4 at a time) in the generalist role to a high number of reqs?
