That's gotta be at least $200k, right? I'm not sure, just making a guess here. The tech bowl may have better guesses.

What are your suggestions on accepting a job offer in the following scenario:
The job location is in Japan, Tokyo. Since the borders are closed for Indians, my work location is remote in India for now. Salary is paid as per Indian market.
When the borders are open, I need to relocate to Japan. I haven't been told about the salary that I would get when I relocate. HR here says once borders open and the Japan company's HR will discuss on the salary range suitable for the Japan market.

Recently promoted. Managing 4 direct reports, which essentially means I’m managing an entire department (it’s small company). Offered a 10% increase, which according to my research is low. Also know for a fact that 2 peers were offered 15% right off the bat, even though I’m technically more senior than they are. Live in NYC, 8 years of experience at the company and in total (first job out of college). I’m being told that there is no chance of negotiating further. Am I being taken advantage of?

A month ago I was given a promotion w/o a raise, and my new responsibilities were announced to the whole office. I’ve been persistent in following up to discuss salary and it’s always a song and dance about “benchmarking exercises”. The latest is that they “may” be able to offer 4-5% since it’s “a promotion but not a level change”… but no sense of timing commitment and frankly, less money than I know I’m worth. Really like the work but it’s crushing me. Any last ditch negotiation ideas?

Is there room for salary negotiation when being promoted internally? What does it look like getting a title change? I’ve done a couple big projects (and continuing to do so) and taking on responsibilities of the Sr Developer. I am a Sales Support Engineer (Applications Engineer) with 2 YOE. I am thinking about making a change because my job is no longer challenging, and there isn’t much growth opportunity in my company. I love my team, but I feel like I may need to move on. I am at 70k a year and have been told time and time again that I have learned faster than anyone they have seen and am a top performer. I don’t feel like I am being compensated for that either. Any suggestions on companies and target salaries?

Have an interesting be possible offer. The salary "might" be on the low end of my desire number, the health benefits won't start right away; takes 60 days then they begin on the first of the month following the 60 days. 401k contributions don't start until 6 months. PTO is only 10 days plus a number of company holidays.

Other than more base salary, are the things negotiable, like more PTO? What about also basking for compensation to cover Cobra payments during the transition phase?
