It’s a great school, but if you’re looking to practice outside of Illinois, I don’t think it’s very reputable. If you decide to stay in Illinois, you’ll be in good shape.

Depends on your intended career. What and where do you want to practice? I don’t mean location because previous poster is correct - you need to be in Chicago. Loyola is a better school (at least in reputation) as is Kent - do you have choices?
Well based off my LSAT score I am trying to see where I can apply. I would like to at least make $70k coming out of law school and find a job in IL.
Retake the LSAT.
Lol you have to balance the amount of debt you will have to take on in order to have a chance to make your desired $70k; a general rule of thumb is it’s a bad investment if your starting annual salary is less than the amount of school debt you will have to carry. If the schools are cheap and you will have low living expenses go for it. But if you will be in anything more than $100k in debt I would consider it long and hard if it is worth it. If you are going to be in for over $150 and you think you can make $70k starting it will never be worth it and there are better jobs paying more than that without the stress, debt and long hours.

Graduating at the top 5% maybe 10% of DePaul will give you many options. Below that, not so much. Do you want a consumer neighborhood practice? Big business practice? Talk to lawyers working in fields you want and see what they think.
