Soft layoffs at ProServe today ?
Been KPMG and have had some great opportunities. I recently put myself on the market and I am in talks with Deloitte and Accenture. Based on my conversations, the compensation seems comparable. Deloitte seems to have a lower salary but higher bonus, the reverse for Accenture. I’m leaning towards Accenture because they seem more chill and reasonable.
Any additional insight? Pro and cons between the two?

What kind of LS project work does Oliver Wyman?
I am contemplating a Strategy Insights & Planning AC offer from ZS in the US. Being early in my career I am placing a premium on learning, growth, and development opportunities. I basically want to be sure i’d be doing strategy consulting, building core consulting skills / business acumen, and not be doing any bs “consulting” work that isn’t really consulting (e.g. staff aug or implementing SAP). I would really appreciate insight and perspective from Zs-ers. ZS Associates
I’m an AC at ZS. We do a blend of both ops and strategy, but we have a designated business ops vertical that manages/executes most of that business which is separate from the consulting. WLB is really good for consulting since we mostly do local projects so our weeks aren’t consumed by travel. Probably only work 60+ hours a week a few weeks a year, and rarely work weekends. Good flexibility if you need to leave around 4 and pick up work again in the evening, but less flexibility in morning because of meetings with India.
IMO I would stay away from Navigant for now as they work through the acquisition by Guidehouse. ClearView and HA do very similar work for basically the same clients, but consultant at clearview is higher than sr analyst at HA.
Also work for Navigant and agree completely with MC1. It hasn’t affected the day to day business or hiring at all.
I would also add that ClearView and Health Advances will be close to pure strategy(at least from what I gathered). From my understanding ZS is building a pure strategy vertical with former MBB folks.
It already exists. In some ways it already has, but we're now putting extra emphasis on putting those projects under one roof and trying to grow that area more

As others have said, ClearView is a pure strategy firm with no operations/marketing/etc. in their scope of practice. Compared to Health Advances, ClearView is rapidly growing, has more office location options, better comp., better upward trajectory opportunities, offers likely a better brand to exit from, but overall it likely has a worse WLB.
I would disagree with part of this. I know that Clearview dabbles in some other things like marketing strategy and launch management. Can’t speak to how often or how well but I know it’s been done.
Let us know what you choose!
Will do
Interviewed at Health Advances. I really liked them and the people that worked there. I feel like they low ball you in the beginning but they have interesting projects and there is room for growth. They seem to be organized and are focused on a new hire being fully educated.
Thanks everyone for the detailed responses. Extremely helpful
So who did you choose? Also a follow up question: how do the ZS and ClearView offers stack up against each other?
Thank you!
