Had one of my most awkward conversations with someone there. Sharp, but that person failed the airport test Lol.
High-caliber fund, sweatshop culture. 5 of last 7 Associate hires quit within a year. Think about them as a younger H&F (although I’m not sure H&F ever experienced attrition that bad)
This is second hand (I know one of the guys who left) but from my understanding they do incredibly deep diligence earlier than most firms. Like 50+ expert calls and a full model before IOIs in some cases. So even though they only do 2-4 deals a year the Associates are always running hard at something, most of which die
DO NOT GO TO COVE HILL. Sweatiest shop in town. Multiple friends left after one year (not just Bainies) because of how bad it got

Neither of us have any data to support our claims, but I don’t agree.
300k @ 2 or 3 total YOE in PE with clear ramping is greater than the stagnation around 300-500k comp I hear of in FAANG (correct me if that’s not the norm).
Heard it’s a sweatshop, but I’d still take it. Which HH is recruiting?
