I dunno, guys. Dana is top notch. It’s a proven successful shop. There are supremely smart people running the show for the most part.

Yes, you are going to be a bit player in someone else’s movie. It’s a machine. You may never rise as high as you could at another agency, but it keeps growing and you can grow with it. compared to the chaos of many, many, many other joints... it has an allure.

Having said all that, beware of Nanda.

I’d re-read what CD2 posted above you, Area23. You seem like you’re a true sheep now baaa baa. Behind me too are so many women that look the other way & allow it to happen.

Do not.

Depends on what team you are on...currently on a gewat team doing great work! Previously on a team where I was miserable, but I spoke up and moved. They are loyal to employees and don't want turnover, so will try to keep people here (which of course has its pros and cons).

Dana is the best. Nanda is not at her level and I would be cautious in dealing with her. Upper management, Mike and Dana, are fantastic; wish their approach reached the trenches.

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. I need a job that’s flexible for the kids but pays >$44/hr. Maybe remote or hybrid? Please help w/ suggestions.

Facing a tricky situation and never dealt with this stuff before 🙃 - I generally dont smoke/drink, its seen as taboo in our culture and our household. I have a younger sibling who just finished college this week. I know he ocassionally consumes alcohol which tbh not too surprised/worried abt. Recently heard from one of his friends that they are worried about his smoking habit and was totally blind sided. Apparently its been going on for 2 months and he recently upped it to twice a day..(cont)

I’m in a rather peculiar situation. I have been in the HR field going on 4 years, I have over 11 years of management experience, I got my PHR last year and I recently graduated with my MBA with a concentration in HR this month. I am ready for a more challenging role. However, there doesn’t seem to be much available at my current company. However, I am going on 5 months pregnant with the expectation of being out in October. I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

It’s hard to understand COVID-19 rates of infection where I’m at or was, and the contracts was not inline with corporate ideals at least not in the IT sector. Their ideals was radical and the spread of harmful information on past events to prevent ethnicities to get vaccinated was alarming. It has highest infection rate in private sector. Don’t know death rates was strictly remote and put on non-sanctioned project NDA wasn’t signed and never knew until it came down the grapevine.

Has anyone else gone back to relying more on public transportation with the surging Uber / Lyft prices. Trips to and from ohare are costing me about as much as the plane tickets themselves, and even simple things like meeting a friend for dinner in another neighborhood ends up costing around $80 in transportation costs. I haven’t taken buses and trains much since I’ve graduated but now it just feels like I’m throwing money out the window by not making the switch back.

I recently started my first post-college job as a software developer and have to make a decision pretty soon: front-end development or back-end development. I really like being closer to the user and the creativity as far as front-end. But I also reallly really enjoy math and logic and the more complex side to back-end. My dream would be to do full stack but thats not an option. Scared of getting pigeon holed. Any suggestions as to what to do / tips?
