Totally fine no one will even notice. Do read up about longevity of finger tattoos though. They bleed and wear out very fast.

I have a business card sized colour tattoo on my inner wrist. Most people dont notice it, and those that do comment positively. Go for it
I’ve had a small one on the inside of my finger for 2 years and only 3 people have said anything about it (even then it was from the point of curiosity, not questioning its professionalism) I say go for it and if you find yourself nervous about a more conservative environment, throw a ring on that finger
It did. The skin that was closest to the palm side faded completely after a while so I just committed to getting it touched up
(cont) and would definitely be a symbol with meaning, but I don’t want to commit to it if a hidden or exposed finger tat can get in the way of my work reputation or the impression I leave.
