Thoughts on Fundrise? I generally invest yearly to personal accounts outside of ROTH 401k etc and was informed about Fundrise. Anyone have experience and thoughts would it being a better form of investing than say ETFs or high dividend stocks/ETF?

What's your FIRE number / do you feel too young to retire? We are about to hit 2m at 30, and on track for 5m at 35. Even if we hit it, I'm not sure that I'd want to retire. Anyone else feel conflicted like this?

I’m a non resident alien, and recently secured my first job in USA. My employer doesn’t match my 401k contributions until a year of employment. Am I understanding this correctly? Starting at FAANG in a week and have options of mega backdoor. My plan is to convert RSUs to cash at every paycheck, contribute each paycheck into post tax 401k up to annual 38k limit, in-plan convert to Roth 401k, and buy back the shares in Roth 401k for tax free growth. Seems like this is the best tax advantaged option (at least on the first 38k of RSUs every year). Also get $2k HSA funded by company every year for free -> convert? Also will have 2k HSA

Goodwin just formalized it’s Recharge Policy. For attorneys who hit hours, they can take a vacation on the firm the next year: $5,000 for juniors, $7,500 for mids and $10,000 for seniors (starting at 5th years). I’ve always felt like Goodwin does a very good job encouraging vacations (most people I know take 3 to 4 weeks including a 2 week vacation). At my last firm, vacations were rare. I’m thrilled with this program, particularly since it helps address burnout.
